A cemetery, Boerenkerkhof in the heart of Enschede, a small town in The Netherlands with many important figures from the history are buried there. The cemetery was usually ignored by the citizen of the town. The goal was to attract citizen of the city at this cemetery to impart knowledge about the graves and the history they contain.
As a team, we were proud of what we have achieved and believed that interactive installations like these could invite citizen to visit and learn about the history of the beautiful town, Enschede. We all were equally a part of the whole process, collective brainstorming, body storming and shared tasks were carried out. On a personal level, individual focus was towards the electronics and the design of physical elements that were presented in the installation.
The video below provides the step we as a team followed and how we approached our final installation.
